MYOFASCIAL RELEASE

Myofascial release focuses on the connective tissue (fascia) surrounding the muscles, tendons, ligaments, bones, organs, nerves, and blood vessels of your body.

Connective tissue is a continuous, elastic sheath that spreads throughout the entire body, providing structural support for your tissues and organs. Myofascial release relieves pain by restoring alignment and improving neck pain, back pain, easing restrictive motion, and correcting bad posture.

This technique stretches muscles and tendons and it also breaks down adhesions and scar tissue. Targeting the deep structural layers allows the body to naturally relax fascia restrictions. Though it may be painful, it is a highly effective therapy for reducing tension within the connective tissues and muscle fibers.
