She is a graduate of and has studied at New York Institute of Technology, UNC Chapel Hill, and the Body Therapy Institute specializing in Neuromuscular Therapy. She is a licensed professional who participates in ongoing continuing education to sharpen her skills and contribute to new developments in the massage therapy field.

EXPERIENCE

Candace has over 30 years experience as a neuromuscular therapist and biomechanical specialist focused on rehabilitating individuals with chronic and acute musculoskeletal pain.

She developed Structural Rebalancing Therapy® (SRT), an innovative healing treatment to help patients regain their flexibility and normal muscle function. Her techniques are a unique blend of neuromuscular trigger point therapy, myofascial release, and deep tissue massage that decompress and realign the body. Her experience in knowing which technique is appropriate for each specific condition has helped her patients alleviate their pain.

SKILL

Candace is a highly skilled professional. Her musculoskeletal techniques are remarkably effective not only for basic joint issues, but also for complicated conditions such as scoliosis, degenerative joint disease, and spinal concerns. Her proprietary SRT treatment provides relief from pain and dysfunction through specific cycles of pressure and release techniques. Each type of therapy provided at Health Options Wellness requires a specific understanding of the patients’ symptoms, their causes, the appropriate treatment, and the skills to perform each treatment.

Candace knows the challenges of dealing with physical body pain from her own personal experience with car accident injuries and scoliosis. As a result, her greatest strength is her compassionate approach to pain relief. It keeps her motivated to find the best possible solutions for every single patient.
